Vitelliform Dystrophy
Vitelliform Dystrophy is a hereditary disease which primarily affects the central area of vision as cells gradually deteriorate. In addition, blurry or distorted vision may result from a build up of fatty yellow pigment (lipofusion). This lesion may resemble an egg yolk or a scrambled egg. Symptoms and vision loss vary greatly in patients.
