Macroaneurysm
A macroaneursym is a large blood-filled area ballooning out from a weakened blood vessel.  Sudden painless vision loss may occur. Retinal macroaneursyms are often associated with diseases of the arteries or hypertension. Over time, spontaneous clotting or closure of the aneurysm may take place; and in some cases, the blood vessel may return to normal.
