Angioma

An angioma is a tumor comprised of lymph vessels or blood.  They are usually benign.

The blood vessels leading to and from the tumor may become enlarged and leak fluid and fatty deposit resulting in
visual loss.  Rarely does an angioma shrink spontaneously. Often times, patients will be asymptomatic because of the slow growth of these tumors.  Treatment options vary depending on size and location.
